About us

Welcome to the new embodiment of our sixth-generation family-owned lucerne and sheep farm nestled within beautiful Wee Jasper in New South Wales, specialising in heirloom vegetables, salad greens, and barnevelder chickens.

In 2017/2018 we're hosting our second Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) season. We're offering just 30 shares for this CSA and each week during the growing season every participating shareholder will receive a full box of beautiful, fresh produce.

We're also currently constructing an exciting new solar-powered 15,000l aquaponics system, which will produce 4,000 heads of fresh leafy greens and 100 rainbow trout every year. We'll have more news about our progress with this very soon!

Thank you; we're thrilled to share this journey with you!

What we're doing

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a partnership between a local farm and members of the surrounding local community. The farm pledges to grow fresh food for the community and the community pledges to support the farm. It is a direct food-to-consumer relationship, connecting a community with its local food source. By making a financial commitment to a farm, members of the community become members of the CSA programme.

In the autumn and winter seasons, members can purchase a share of the harvest and the farmers can then use this investment for equipment, greenhouse expenses, labour, seeds, and so much more. In return, members receive an equal weekly distribution of the farm's products prepared during the growing season. So... your investment is returned with delicious, healthy, vibrant food - as fresh as it can get!

Our CSA programme supports our local community so that it can nourish itself, the responsible and sustainable management of our land, and a shrinking carbon footprint. A wonderful community is formed by the members of a Community Supported Agriculture programme and the farmers who produce their food - and the programme gives farmers a sure market to gauge product growth, minimising potential losses and therefore ensuring the success of the farm.
